The 2011/2012 Season Opener Slam

Both the St. Paul Soap Boxing and Minneapolis Slam teams made huge showings at the 2011 National Poetry Slam in Boston this August. Sadly, St. Paul lost their championship title in a vicious (and close) battle against another outstanding team. Now St. Paul is hungry to bring that trophy back to the Artists’ Quarter once more. Those who competed at the National Poetry Slam, along with a throng of new incredible local poets are ready to start a brand new Slam season, led by St. Paul’s brand new SlamMaster, Sam Cook.

Anyone is welcome to compete.
