Michael Mlekoday, award-winning performance poet and St. Paul native, is giving one last reading before moving to Indiana.

Doors at 7:00 pm. $5. There will be music, visual art, beverages, and a guest performance by poet Kait Rokowski. The poets will have chapbooks for sale.

Michael Mlekoday is an MFA candidate at Indiana University. He has lived in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Manhattan—Manhattan, Kansas. In 2009, he won the National Poetry Slam as a member of Team St. Paul, and returned the following year to coach the team to its second championship. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in journals such as Sentence: a Journal of Prose Poetics, MUZZLE Magazine, and Monkeybicycle. He is the Poetry Editor of Orange Quarterly.
