Stone Arch Festival Celebrates All the Arts
This father day’s weekend, June 19 and 20, the 16th annual Stone Arch Festival of the Arts will take place on East Bank (Meet Minneapolis likes to call it the Riverfront District). Boasting over 250 artists with art from across the nation and 40 live performances, patrons can enjoy and purchase art and listen to some of Minneapolis’ best up and coming musicians.
Setting the Stone Arch Festival apart is the inclusion of dance, theater, and Art of the Car celebrating classic and restored automobiles. The festival also encourages you to bring out the whole family with an area devoted entirely to children activities, the Youth Arts Quarter, including a Lego Center and Live Seed Art Portrait Center. And of course, there will be no shortage of beer and food vendors throughout the festival grounds. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience every vein of the fine arts in one place.
