Beginning June 19, The Weisman Art Museum at the University of Minnesota, is hosting the “Ordinarily Here” exhibition. Pieces include embroidery based on graffiti tags, drawings of paper shredder scraps, paintings on sheetrock alongside piles of bricks, and many more. The ten Minnesota-based artists are experimenting with how dramatically different we view the ordinary after it is re-contextualized. The exhibition runs through October 10.
